Ad Lopez offers a broad range of designer necklaces and bracelets composed of semi precious stones that reflect contemporary, Oriental, and Native American designs.

 

With over thirty seven years in public education Ad is now retired. Ad started as a classroom teacher and taught the first eleven years: he was later selected to be the district coordinator for Community Affairs acting as the district ombudsman with the Denver Hispanic community. He later was a principal at several sites in the metro area. He was a recipient of a prestigious Rockefeller Administrator Fellowship. In the classroom Ad taught silver smithing , design, and architecture. He is most proud of the fact that his West High Drafting program received The Outstanding School award in statewide competition. While working on his Masters Degree at Colorado State University , Ad taught a graduate course in casting and fabricating precious metals. Most recently he has refined his fabricating skills at the Instituto Allende , the famous art institute in San Miguel de Allende , Mexico .

Customers have stated that he produces “designer” jewelry that is unique and distinct in his expression and demonstration of original designs of fine beaded jewelry.

Ad is also working in the fabrication of sterling silver and has a somewhat contemporary Oriental and Native American design to his finished pieces.

His work is featured at La Cuvea Mexican Restaruant, the best Mexican Restaurant in the Denver Metro area, as recognized by Westward Magazine. it's located in Original Aurora, Colorado adjacent to the Aurora Fox Theater.
